Nostalgia with Sushi Q

It was nostalgic to see the hand roll sushi that were made in a cylindrical shape instead of the normal cone shape hand roll sushi. Now where did I see it? Well I saw it when I was at Sushi Q outlet in Publika. What more was the fact that they had a ‘Crispy Chicken Hand roll’, which was something that trigger a whole bunch of memories when I was in Melbourne Australia.

Now looking at Sushi Q concept, it has been adopted from Australia, meaning that it is the concept of a sushi on the go. The only difference about Melbourne and Sushi Q is the fact that Sushi Q has space for customers to sit down and chomp through the sushi that they had bought. Also not forgetting the cute soy sauce container that is handed out when you buy a sushi from one of the sushi on the go establishment.

It looks a little like this~!!

Sushi Soy Sauce

This is certainly a great concept to be brought into Malaysia. Though I would like the soy sauce above though.

Now lets take a look at some of the glorious food that was served.

Sushi Q - Seafood Salad

The Seafood Salad. For the seafood lovers who wants to keep to their green diet.

Sushi Q - Awabi Salad

The Awabi Salad. For a guy like me who doesn’t fancy seafood much, the Awabi tasted pretty good.

Sushi Q - Baby Octopus

Everyone was to snap up the Baby Octopus, which goes to show that it was simply delicious (which I agree).

Sushi Q - Sushi Q Happy Meal : Assorted Sushi Set

The Assorted Sushi Set is for those who loves variety. It certainly has a good combination of different sushi and salmon.

Sushi Q - Lobster Mayo Yaki

The Lobster Mayo Yaki is a  good choice as this particular sushi tasted pretty good for me. And it is one of the best sellers too.

Sushi Q - Miso Soup

Miso soup is also available.

Sushi Q - Crabstick / Half Cooked Salmon / Butterfish / Unagi / Baby Octopus / Scallop Lips / Cooked Salmon / Seaweed

Assorted different sushi. Apparently one of the best seller would be the Butter fish. Do give it a try.

Sushi Q - Lobster / Egg Mayo / Tamago Sushi Cake / Salmon Salad

Another set of assorted sushi to choose from.

Sushi Q - Awabi Ramen

Awabi Ramen.

Sushi Q - Duck Ramen

Duck Ramen.

Sushi Q - Various Different Handroll

The various different hand rolls. There are 16 varieties to choose from, including my favorite, the Crispy Chicken. There is also their best seller the Soft Shell Crab hand roll. Really good stuff.

Sushi Q - Desserts Mochi

Mochi.

Sushi Q - Publika

Sushi Q at Publika @ Solaris Dutamas.

Sushi Q - Deco

Artsy fartsy deco in the Sushi Q Publika outlet.

Sushi Q - Bloggers

Here is the bunch of us taking a photo with the chef and the manager of Sushi Q at Publika.

Sushi Q offers great food especially on the good as their concept is more of self service. Not only that, they are doing their best to go Eco-Friendly at all of their outlets. If you want to find out more, then click HERE to head over to their Facebook page.

So do drop by to their kiosk at One Utama and Mid Valley or visit their brand new restaurant outlet in Publika, Solaris Dutamas and give a try of the Crispy Chicken hand roll. Super highly recommended by me. Sorry no pic of that cos just couldn’t resist eating it before picture was taken.

Check out the gallery below for a whole bunch of pictures of the simply glorious food and the people. It is all thanks to Melissa of Melmonica.com

Spa Massage at Tres Bella

It’s has been a long long time (and I really mean a long time) since I had a really good massage, though my last massage was more of a Swiss massage it hurt real bad back then.

Tres Bella - Logo

Fortunately this time around I was able to experience something more soothing and relaxing this time around. It is all done at Tres Bella, located at Solaris Dutamas. As I had previously experienced, Publika (the mall in Solaris Dutamas) and Solaris Dutamas has a horrible parking system. But fortunately my pass experience allowed me to find a new parking area that is really nice and has ample parking to go around on the weekends.

Tres Bella - Corridor & Logo

Well back to Tres Bella, they have been around in Solaris Dutamas since May 2011 and has been staying strong at where they are today. What I really love about this place is that is really nice and clean, and it is really close to lift. I like!

Now let’s get started with the pampering session. :)

Well it started off with a very soothing foot scrub . I never really had a foot scrub before so it was not too bad for me. It was then followed by a body scrub. Now I felt a little cold maybe because of the air conditioning and also the fact that I didn’t had much to eat before the session. But to a point the scrub felt like it was stinging a little when it was applied to my chest. After the scrub, I was soon lathered with the Marine Algae body mask. Now this was a little colder than the scrub and soon after was wrapped with plastic for approximately 10 mins or so.

Soon after, I would head to the shower to clean the body of the body mask. It was then the massage started. The massage was not too hard and not too soft. It had just the right amount of pressure and it was using the scented massage oil hence the aromatheraphy massage. And to hear the oil is actually a product Biossentials. I was happily enjoying the massage till I fell asleep.

It was not long after I was awoken from my slumber and the massage had ended. It was simply a very good, refreshing and relaxing massage for me.

Tres Bella & Me

MilkADeal is currently running a deal with Tres Bella for the same exact treatment I am had. Come check it out HERE.

Charm Making With Kelvin Gems

Looks like pretty much everyone has posted their blog post about their fun time at the Charm Making Workshop with Kelvin Gems. Looks like I too am pressured to have it posted up ASAP~! Just kidding, I really like the workshop. REALLY~!!!

Looking back, a big thank you to Angie and her husband Kelvin for giving the opportunity to bloggers like a few others and myself to give the Charm Making Workshop a try. I knew I had fun and so did the others who attended the workshop. Though it is a Charm Making Workshop I totally believe that guys would also enjoy some hands-on experience with making a special gift for their loved ones.

Of course girls love it as all the girl participants (whom has blogged about it) were simply enjoying themselves during the workshop. Now enough of words and lets get to the pictures~!

First off would be the tools that were provided for the workshop.

Kelvin Gems - Charm Making Tools

With these tools ready to twist and turn all the metals in the room, the participants were all fired up to get started with their own charms!

Kelvin Gems - Charm Making Workshop Participants

Participants were paying full attention to Angie the instructor at the workshop.

Now lets take a short glimpse of my unfinished charm bracelet.

Kelvin Gems - My Charm Bracelet - Work in Progress

Of course the ornaments chosen has a story to tell and the story is mine to explain and interpret.

Why not we take a look at the other participants who were busy with their own charm that they were lost in their own world of charms, beads and metal~!

Kelvin Gems - Happy Charm Assemblers

Kelvin Gems - Participants Hard At Work Making Charms

Now I remember Angie asking dear Jayren for whom the charm bracelet would be for, whether would it be for his gf or for his mother. I was quick to reply on his behalf saying that his gf is just right next to him, so best not for him to answer  :)

Then everyone started laughing away as Jayren seems speechless after I interrupted Angie with her questions.

Now the couple at hand who attended the workshop.

Kelvin Gems - Red Couple Making Charm Bracelet

Of course we had a professional in the room who was busy making his own charm bracelet for his beloved gf. He was simply a pro at making them (and writing about them too). He is an efficient, charm making machine~!

Kelvin Gems - Ben The Professional Charm Maker

Ben in the midst of making his how many hundredth charm (simple exaggeration)~!

Now, you gotta check out my post to find out how my charm bracelet look like at the end. So click on “Continue reading” to catch the rest of my blog post (if you are not on the blogpost itself yet  :p)
