Wonderful Food At The boatHouse

Big thanks to MilkADeal for allowing me to enjoy some really scrumptuous food at the boatHouse. I have to say not only the food was delicious, the ambiance was certainly something to enjoy. What mote you enjoy drinks while playing darts or even pool.

Now let’s go into the low down of the event that ran on that day. Now we were invited together with more prominent bloggers such as SixthSeal and Tian Chad for an awesome meal. The staff from Nuffnang also attended to enjoy the

Now we first started off with appetizer. The appetizer served was oyster with lumpfish caviar.

I didn’t fancy the oyster, but Huai Bin of SixthSeal.com certainly had his fill of oysters as most who attended didn’t really fancy oyster just like me. But according to Benjamin, the oyster was fresh.

It was then followed by awesome tasting Caramel Roast Pork and Pork Skin & Balls.

Those two tasted pretty awesome I must say.

We were then served with Holland Pork Belly Ribs. The meat was super soft and tender and must be eaten with the fats, which simply melted in the mouth.

Followed by Spaghetti Scallop Olio with Poppy Seed. Now this dish simply blew me away with the generous amount of scallops to boot. I would love to eat that again for sure.

The next dish served was the Fettuccine Pesto Beef with Rocket Leaves. The Rocket Leaves compliments the dish very well, though I would still prefer the earlier Aglio Olio.

Now the next dish would the Steak Au Poirre which was prepared rare. It was certainly not my cup of tea as I prefer at least medium well. Of course I did give it a try.

After serving us with the fabulous main courses, we were served with dessert.

First off was the Crepe Suzette. Apparently it is usually only served with orange juice, but these were served with real orange slices.

It was a really good dessert.

The next dessert served was the chocolate soufle with berries. We were told to enjoy the Chocolate Soufle within 3 minutes of it being served before it collapse. Just take a look at how good it is.

It was certainly a great place to chill out and enjoy wonderful food. The service was definitely good as so was the food.

As usual, the disclaimer is that this is my food palate and therefore I have different taste in food. But do give boatHouse a try.

The Fine Dining at Tanzini

A fine dining experience is something I never really had the opportunity to experience, but at long last, I finally got the chance to give it a try.

Yay~!!!

But somehow I was not too well adapted with the fine dining. Seeing that I don’t quite fancy fine dining food, but not only the portions is small, but I believe that it is just the right size for those who knows how to enjoy the fine dining cuisine.

A few bloggers, and myself were given a tour of Tanzini both the upper deck and the lower deck. The upper deck was certainly much nicer than the lower deck. There was even a cigar lounge. It was certainly something different from what I usually experience.

Now we were served with appetizers, a main course and end it with a dessert. Now looking back at that experience, I would have easily said that the food were not my cup of tea.

But it was certainly an experience that I would cherish.

Now let’s take a look at the gallery of pictures taken by Benjamin Foo.

I hope you enjoyed what i had to share here. Signing off, Just a nobody.

Tea Time at The Lounge

It was nice to have tea with bloggers, but it would be even better if I did not have to take care of it. Well nonetheless, it was nice to have so many blogger friends around that day. Looking that I had a hand in organizing the event, I had to make sure all was going smoothly so that there won’t be any complains from both the bloggers and the management.

Well, I knew I was busy attending to the bloggers that i kinda forgot to eat the delicacies that was served. But I certainly enjoyed the Ice Chocolate with Monin syrup.

It was a bit of a hassle because the I had to stir the chocolate. After stirring, it certainly tasted pretty darn good.

It was also the first time I was using foursquare, using the iPad of course. After that I was pretty much addicted to it. Like how I am a Twitter addict. Ops I kinda steered away from what I had wanted to share.

Now back to The Lounge, the environment was very relaxed and was quite a nice ambiance to chit chat and catch up with some of the bloggers who had attended. I would love to share pictures, but i didn’t take any pictures. So I would like to thank Isaac Tan of IsaacTan.net for his wonderful pictures of the event in the gallery below.

Do check out Isaac’s post about The Lounge HERE.
