Hypp TV Bloggers Party

Lately I have been very fortunate to be invited for so many events that has left me in awe as I continue to count my blessings. And I was not sure as to which event to attend as I had received 2 invites to 2 different events. Of course, I choose the event that had guaranteed food. And so I went for the Hypp TV Bloggers Party at Neo Tamarind.

 

There I met up with Isaac and his wife Janice who is also there for the bloggers party. But we missed a blogger event organized by Jfook. Well that would be another story on it’s own.

Now of course being promised food, I came with an empty stomach, but the food was still not served. Fortunately they were serving some lovely tapas with an awesome taste to boot. Now that is a special thanks to Neo Tamarind for hosting the bloggers party and providing some awesome tapas.

 

I remember feasting on some angus beef, some tuna, fried calamari, beef balls, tempura white cod, and a whole lot more of other tapas. It was great filling up the stomach with such awesome food while waiting for the event to begin. Of course I was slightly late due to the massive Friday jam to boot from office.

I did not really enjoy myself as I had a very nasty day before the event and the stuff keep on piling up. But the event was awesome as there were a lot of people in costumes and the food was amazingly good. Best of all, there were some awesome prizes to be won.

 

What more, Hypp TV is celebrating it’s 1 year birthday and the 80,000 subscribers of Hypp TV. There are so many channels to choose from and there are some awesome series, like Stargate Universe, Eureka, Medium, House, and many others.

What is interesting is that the reception of the TV is not affected by any stormy weather, or so I heard when they were playing some games and that is like super awesome. I even took a look at the channels they had to offer and I was impressed as to how clear the channels were as though they were HD.

 

At the end of the event, someone won an iPad 2 and it is none other than Michelle~! She indeed had a very creative entry for the contest.  She certainly deserved it.

Trying Out Blogging On The IPad 2

I am currently trying out to blog using my mom’s brand new iPad 2. It is a pretty awesome device I must say during my 1 day with it. Of course I shall be passing it back to her soon as I had downloaded the apps and also the books on the iBooks for her. Now my mom’s iPad 2 is quite well equipped with books and apps that would help her.

Not to mention I also downloaded apps for her to play with whenever she is bored. I am still wondering if there are any other apps that I can get for her. Of course the screen attracts a whole lot of finger prints and even with the screen protector, it is not that easy to clean.

Now I love to get my hands on this fine machine if it wasn’t for the price tag. Anywayz, had a nice lunch with my mother today at Sugimoto. Where my mom and myself enjoy the bento lunch set. Had a good chat like we always do. Of course, we have new topics like the neighbours, and what my mom has been busy doing during her free time.

We chat quite a fair bit before heading home. Where I continued downloading books and apps for the iPad. It wasn’t long before I went into a mini coma. So now I am awake and blogging using the iPad. It is more restrictive, but I like it in the sense it allows me to head back to my roots of blogging with words and not with pictures.

I have a lot of things to blog, but that includes pictures, meaning heading back to my laptop and uploading the pictures for the necessary posts.

On another note, my pox is subsiding but it has left me scarred pretty much for life. Hahaha. And that is about all the updates I have about myself for now. Till next time.
