Yes, I finally got a job.  For those who knows me, that would be news for you.  After a year in attempting at starting my own business, with not much success, I finally got myself a job to support my life.  It has been a tough year but it definitely is time to push my boundaries and get myself kicked out of my comfort zone.

It has been a week since I started, and the expectations are high~!  Well that is to be expected with the amount of competition in the industry that I joined.  This led my colleagues and myself to head out far and wide in order to find good quality partners in the company’s endeavour.  Fortunately, the idea and concept is something I am quite fond off and very willing to share with others about it, hence making it easier for me in doing my job.

Of course, the job is quite scary and daunting as the company I am working for is reaching out to some big names and even international names.  I am fortunate enough to have potential partners lending me their ears and giving me some of their time to talk to me, before some would turn me down.  This would involved attempts on setting up appointments and meetings with potential partners.  To top that, my colleagues and myself a expected to have multiple appointments or meetings in a day.

Within my first week at my new company, I was able to achieve a deal, but found out that the partner that I signed with had already engaged a few of the company’s competitors.  It did upset me a little bit as I had not expected for him to move all out by using the network we possess.  Well, looking it from his point of view, I can’t blame him for engaging so many of our competitors, as he might see it as an option to get more business in for him.  Even with the “what if” scenarios we played out, I can’t change the fact that the competitors had approached him before.

I forgot to mention as to which company I am working with and what do I do.  I am currently working for Milk A Deal (MAD) from MilkADeal.com as a business accounts executive.  What I do is actually to get very good deals from our partners, and feature them on MilkADeal.com.  Of course I am still learning the ropes, but of course, if there is anything that you would like to get some good deals off, please don’t hesitate to ask me ya.  I would do my best to get it.  Hehehe.

And so, I would like to say that it is good to be able to expect inflow of cash, but it is not something I would be doing forever.  Of course this is merely for the inflow of cash for the upcoming plans in this year.

Now I better get writing to fill some days of the week~! Huhuhu~!
