Movie Review: Sucker Punch

Sucker Punch~!

That is what I felt at the end of the movie.  I got sucker punched by Sucker Punch~!

 

 

I guess this movie has its own meaning as the storyline kinda lost everyone towards the end of the movie.  But I think I could understand from whose viewpoint the movie was being told from.

 

So I got a chance to watch this movie thanks to Nuffnang as they were offering tickets to watch it.  Of course I thought that I would not be that lucky to get the tickets as I had gotten tickets to the past few screenings but I was wrong.  I got the tickets from Nuffnang to watch this movie~!  Fortunately this time around there was no unwanted incidents that scared the living shit out of me during this screening (this story will be told later on, and actually it has been nicely told by Carmen).

 

 

Well, this movie was certainly loud.  Louder than usual.  Its more of a movie with beautiful graphics, sexy ladies, and super loud music and sound effects.  Not forgetting the super cool slow motion sucker punches throughout the movie.

 

 

The battle scenes were simply beautiful.  I wonder if it would look good on 3D.  Something my dear colleague has raised.  He had high hopes for this movie, but was a little disappointed.

 

 

Can’t deny, I would definitely watch this movie for the sexy ladies.

 

And to note, that this movie actually was told from one person’s point before it was transfered to another person and from there, that is when the fantasy truly began.

 

After thinking through a few times, I think I understand why the movie was told as it was told.  Story wise, people won’t really see the value in it.  But the graphics and the fighting scenes would make up for it.

 

 

Overall, I would say, give this movie a go if you are interested in sexy ladies, carrying guns shooting at nasty looking enemies, but if you are looking for a story, then please do not go.

I am falling behind

I have been falling behind in terms of writing my blog posts up and ready for reading ever since I started working.  There are like at least 4 major post that I have not gone around to blog about yet.  There are even movie reviews that I was suppose to write, but was bogged down by my new job that I kinda lost track of time of how long my blog has not been receiving attention from me.

 

Of course my new job takes precedence over my blog as it is my source of cash inflow.  I gotta hit the target.  It is crucial, not just for the company, but for myself as well.  Seeing the deals that my colleagues are getting in getting a whole lot of buyers kinda makes me jealous.  Hahaha.

 

Now here is the deal, I will do my best to get my posts up and ready especially the few movies that I had watched, and I don’t think it is something available in Malaysia.  Huhuhu.

Love The Bloggers

It has been a long time since I felt so alive.  And I have thank the bloggers for bringing me back to life.  With all the events and the meet ups before screenings really brought me closer to a number of bloggers.  And getting involved in activities together with them, was really fun~!

 

And all these bloggers are certainly high spirited, happy, and really active.  It is really nice to be out with them.  In the end, even an #emogroup was created.  Gotta love the blogger crowd, coming from different age and different fields.  Gave a real good mix of people.

 

They gave off a good vibe and was such a supportive bunch.  So how not to love them bloggers who had supported me throughout.

 

So a special appreciation to bloggers whom I met from late 2010 onwards.  You guys and girls are certainly great major players / influencers in my life and my future.

 

Time to dush dush dush~!
